Meetings take place monthly from 10:00 am – 11:30 am. Dates vary.
Meetings take place by Zoom. Access is provided to registered participants.

Who would benefit from this group?
Stroke survivors including those with aphasia.

Description of the group:
This group provides an opportunity for those who are stroke survivors with aphasia to connect with others who have experienced surviving a stroke. It is an opportunity to connect in a safe environment with those who understand the challenges of conversation when dealing with aphasia. We utilize techniques for Supported Conversation and we welcome caregivers who are supporting the participant. The group is led by stroke survivors and facilitated by individuals who have not experienced a stroke.
