Volunteer with us

Our volunteers give their time to support and inspire stroke survivors and caregivers. Many of them have lived experience themselves, and play an essential role in the delivery of peer support programs and other After Stroke services.

We are always looking for new volunteers to join our team. Opportunities include:

  • Hospital visiting (virtual) – connect with people recovering in hospital and their families  through technology
  • Peer volunteer (virtual) – share your experience with recently-diagnosed stroke survivors through technology
  • After Stroke support groups – help run your local group, and become an advocate for the stroke community
  • Advisory board member – use your experience to help steer the development of the After Stroke program
