Description of the group:
The Stroke Recovery Association of York Region (SRAYR) has been proudly serving York Region for over 30 years. SRAYR is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to supporting individuals and their families throughout their stroke journey. This group is run by volunteers who have either experienced a stroke themselves or who have been personally affected by stroke. Our volunteers create a safe place where people can share their ideas, knowledge and experience. We frequently invite guest speakers to present on topics relevant to stroke. Our goal is to help optimize recovery by supporting one another and sharing information about beneficial community resources.
